Why you want layers
The day starts early and cold in Cusco, crosses the plateau of Chinchero, Moray and Maras, where the sun is fierce, then drops to the milder valley floor. On the way back the evening cools again. Layers you can take off and put on work best.
What you do not need to bring
The buffet lunch is already included, so you do not need to carry food: water and a snack are enough. You do not need to print your booking either: the email on your phone is your voucher. Travel light, with a small daypack.
