Sacred Valley VIP tour

The whole valley, in a single trip

If you only have one day for the Sacred Valley, this is how to leave nothing out. You start early in Chinchero, drop down to the farming rings of Moray and the white ponds of Maras, have lunch in Urubamba and close the day among the stones of Ollantaytambo and the terraces of Pisac.

It is a long day, but a well-paced one: the guide keeps the timing, the van waits at every site and all you have to do is look. For US$2 more than the Classic you add the two places that give you the best photos of the trip.

Before you book the VIP

The complete route: Chinchero, Moray, the Maras salt mines, Ollantaytambo and Pisac in one day. The service is the same as the Classic (group of max. 17–18, bilingual guide, buffet lunch); what changes is that you visit two more sites.

On top of the US$32 you need the tourist ticket (it covers Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Moray) and the Maras salt mines entrance fee. Both are paid in cash in soles on the day, or added at booking depending on the option. Details in our tourist ticket guide.

So five sites fit into one day. Pickup starts at 6:20 AM and you are back in Cusco around 7:00 PM — an hour earlier and half an hour later than the Classic.
